When a donor supports Kashmir Fund DK (KFDK) through a single donation or one-time donation, KFDK is allowed to withdraw the selected amount on the first banking day.
When a donor supports KFDK through a Fixed Withdrawal Agreement (fixed payment agreement), KFDK is allowed to withdraw the selected amount once every first weekday/banking day of the month.
In addition to the donation itself, there are no costs associated with making single donations or repeated withdrawals for the donor. KFDK pays all transaction costs as part of its operating costs.
The donor receives a receipt by e-mail after each completed single payment. For each repeated withdrawal agreement created, the donor only receives a receipt upon creation and not after each monthly withdrawal of the donation.
If the donor chooses that the donation should be linked to a specific purpose, each subsequent donation in the recurring debit agreement will go to the same purpose.
KFDK registers entered information in connection with donations, which is used for reporting to SKAT and for marketing efforts. The information is not disclosed, but in the event of termination of membership, sponsorships or donations, KFDK stores the information for five years plus the current year, cf. the Accounting Act. When paying by credit card, registration takes place via a secure server at ePay, where the information is encrypted.
When entering into a recurring debit agreement, KFDK is allowed to contact the donor by e-mail and telephone with a view to renewing the agreement when the payment card expires. This is because regular payments from a card where the donor changes or renews the card are stopped. KFDK may therefore request that the donor renew the card identification with the new card’s data.
If the donor wishes to terminate his recurring debit agreement, this can be done by contacting KFDK by e-mail. As long as the termination request is made 15 days before the payment date, the fixed gift agreement can be terminated before the next payment. The donor’s agreement terminates if the card expires or is blocked and the donor does not renew the agreement by registering his new card details within three months of the card’s expiration date or blocking.
There is no right of withdrawal for a donation made via a recurring debit agreement or via a single donation, except if the donor has made a typo when creating it. Special rules apply here, which KFDK has been imposed by its auditor to curb the risk of money laundering: The donor’s full name, address, telephone number and e-mail are registered in a special sheet for this purpose, which is stored for five years plus the current year. Refunds of amounts greater than DKK 5,000 must be approved by email by the board of directors.
