Terms & Conditions

One-time donations via payment card or MobilePay

Online donations can be made via payment card, Stripe, and MobilePay. Stripe and MobilePay act as payment service providers. Kashmir Fund DK is the final recipient of all donations and holds full responsibility for the use of the collected funds.
When a donor supports Kashmir Fund DK (KFDK) through a one-time or single donation, permission is granted for KFDK to charge the selected amount on the next banking day.
For donations made via Stripe and MobilePay, payment is handled by the selected payment service provider between the donor and Kashmir Fund DK in accordance with the provider’s applicable terms and conditions.

Recurring donations via payment card or MobilePay

When a donor supports KFDK through a recurring donation agreement, permission is granted for KFDK to charge the selected amount once every month on the first working/banking day of the month.

No fees on donations

Apart from the donation itself, there are no costs for the donor associated with making one-time or recurring donations. KFDK covers all transaction fees as part of its operational expenses.

Receipts

The donor will receive a receipt by email after each completed one-time payment.
For each recurring donation agreement, the donor will receive a receipt upon creation of the agreement only, and not after each monthly withdrawal.

Purpose-specific donations

If the donor chooses to link the donation to a specific purpose, all subsequent donations under the recurring donation agreement will be allocated to the same purpose.

Registration of information for tax reporting and marketing

KFDK registers the information entered in connection with donations for reporting to the Danish Tax Agency (SKAT) and for marketing purposes. The information is not shared with third parties.
In the event of termination of memberships, sponsorships, or donations, KFDK retains the information for five years plus the current year in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
Payments made by credit card are registered via a secure server at ePay, where the information is encrypted.

Kashmir Fund DK is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with donations. Personal data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy, which can be read here:
https://kashmirfund.dk/privacy-policy/

In connection with payments, Stripe and MobilePay may share relevant information such as name, contact details, and payment reference with Kashmir Fund DK.

Renewal of recurring donation agreements

When entering into a recurring donation agreement, permission is granted for KFDK to contact the donor by email and phone for the purpose of renewing the agreement when the payment card expires.
Recurring payments from an expired or replaced card are automatically stopped. KFDK may therefore request that the donor renew their card details using the new card information.

Termination

If the donor wishes to terminate a recurring donation agreement, this can be done by contacting KFDK by email.
If notice of termination is given at least 15 days before the payment date, the recurring donation can be stopped before the next payment.
The agreement will also terminate if the card expires or is blocked and the donor does not renew the agreement by registering new card details within three months of the card’s expiration or blocking.

Right of withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal for donations made through recurring donation agreements or one-time donations, except in cases where the donor has entered incorrect information during setup.
In such cases, special rules apply as required by KFDK’s auditors to mitigate the risk of money laundering. The donor’s full name, address, phone number, and email address are registered in a special record, which is retained for five years plus the current year.
Refunds exceeding DKK 5,000 must be approved by the board via email.

Donations are considered voluntary contributions and are generally non-refundable, regardless of whether payment was made via payment card, Stripe, or MobilePay.
In the event of a documented erroneous payment, the donor should contact Kashmir Fund DK as soon as possible.

By completing a donation, the donor accepts Kashmir Fund DK’s terms and conditions as well as the applicable terms of use of the selected payment service provider (Stripe or MobilePay).
